No rhyme or reason here, just a few things I'm obsessed with these days...

PROPS: I dont know how many times I have spoken on the topic of light. It is truly the most inspirational and challenging thing my mind tackles on a day to day basis. I am constantly trying to capture it myself in my own travels and such, sometimes I come close to getting the idea across, but most times I have to rely on the memory, which I have learned can be just as rewarding and makes it somewhat more special as something just for me. When I stumble upon photos like the ones above, I'm humbled. Who knows if this other blogger Brian, (coincidence) who lives in London has the same ideas about light, or maybe he doesn't think twice about it. I guess it doesn't matter, he got me to look, he got me to keep looking and it made me smile. Right now in Seattle, were having some of the most beautiful twilight hours each night, the colors that I have been seeing...well they're just stunning. Moving. Seeing. Building a library in my brain in hopes that I'll see it in something else down the road. THE BLUE HOUR

A few bright and airy bathrooms from Elle Decor.
Simple, modern country photographed by William Waldron, perfectly spare and worn-in all at once.
Just a quick note to let you all know that Shanna Murray is offering this lovely decal to raise funds for Japan. All proceeds will go to ShelterBox.
A glimpse of Sunday's market haul -- french breakfast and spicy black radishes from Next Step Produce and fleshy yellow onions from Twin Springs Fruit Farm. I also picked up salad greens and rainbow chard (from Next Step who makes the best mesclun mix.), apple cider, tall branches of flowering quince and stocked up on the AMAZING thai coconut milk gelato from Dolcezza.
