House Tour: Francisco Costa's NYC apartment

This is the time of year when a lot of people start thinking about spring cleaning. Something about green shoots and daffodils sprouting up from the mud, the smell of dew and wet dirt and the outpouring of people on city streets just makes us want to clean, purge our homes (and our lives) of clutter and get back to the basics.

I think that's why I've been feeling so drawn to really well-edited, spare homes where every item is there for a reason. A perfect example of this is Francisco Costa's New York City apartment-- very refined and no muss' no fuss' -- much like his designs for Calvin Klein. And what a perfect escape from the craziness of city living -- I picture this as such an amazing cocoon in the sky.
