Ideas for Feng Shui and your residence

By Bob Garcia

Feng Shui is the art of attaining equilibrium involving the forces of good and evil, the Yin and Yang. It is deemed an ancient system that the Chinese have been practicing since the days of old and it has been adopted in many non-Chinese cultures too. Based on this philosophy the positioning and arrangement inside a room might have good or bad effect on a person's health and wealth. Listed below are five ideas to enhance good energy Chi flow in your properties.

The front door should always have a clear path. Don't put objects at the front since this will block good energy or Chi which will help prevent it from flowing into your residence.

But if your front door lies directly in front of a window, put a screen or some furniture between them to prevent good energy from flowing out straight away.

Throw open your curtains and windows day after day to let fresh morning air and sunshine to come in. Windows that can be constantly closed are not going to allow good Chi to flow in. Open windows are also beneficial to your overall health for the reason that allow us to inhale fresh air daily. Vacant bedrooms should not be left in the dark for a lengthy period of time as this will permit bad Chi to linger.

You must never place plants with thorns for instance cactus inside your home. Instead, decorate your residence with round leafed plants, crystals and wind chimes. These types of plants are reported to be auspicious and definitely will invite good Chi to come into the house.

Place a fountain or aquarium within your house. Water attracts good Chi. The best position to put this is in front of the door to invite good energy in. Placing it south-east is said to bring you wealth, east for health, south-west for good luck in marriage, west for friends, north-east for education and north for career enrichment.
